San Francisco Supergirlby ~nick15

Having missed out on the Batgirl meme, twice, I promised myself to not miss the next one, whatever it was. Well, the next one surfaced ([link]), and it turned out to be Supergirl!

This is my interpretation of Supergirl…. more specifically, Supergirl if she lived in San Francisco as opposed to Metropolis. Out are the vibrant colors and frilly-girly skirt. In are pants, studded belt, and darker, more muted colors. I was gonna do away with the cape and the S-logo as well, but then she’d just look like a normal person with an “S” belt buckle, so I left them in so that she’d be a bit more recognizable.

I also really don’t like the fact that she’s wearing a vintage shirt, but that’s her style, not mine.

What makes a vintage supergirl t-shirt? Hell, if you were Super Girl, it would be hand made and only last about a week, I think they would all be newly made and thus, non-vintage!
